Doing the Same Thing...Expecting Different Results with Your Current Utah CDC?

"Are you gonna be one of those people that just talks about it, or actually, does it?"

That's what my jump instructor used to close me on my first parachute jump after I'd continued to dodge his follow up calls after an initial inquiry.

I went through the training, was scared out of my mind, popped through the door at seven thousand feet over the Utah desert and was convinced I was going to die.

I didn't die and the elation from that experience lasted a month.

Here's the segway...

I had a lunch discussion last week with a couple of executives regarding various elements of behavioral psychology related to business. We covered a number of points but this one was the big one, paraphrasing...

"Why do people keep doing the same thing again and again and expect different results?"

We've all heard this related to a quote concerning insanity. And yes, it is insane to do the same thing and expect different results...but why does this type of behavior persist?

It comes down to 2 basic things - consistency and commitment.

Most humans feel "safe" in a consistent experience, even if the results are mediocre or painful. We have a hard time deviating from that consistency when it is bound with commitment to a company, person, ideal, etc. (right or wrong). The impact of that deviation is the fear of losing credibility through breaking a commitment regardless of its efficacy. The key is to walk your clients through this information and if they jump...make sure the chute opening is consistently glorious.

The question is...what has your consistent commitment actually gotten you with a current vendor, partner or provider? If its anything other than advancement, happiness, positive results, etc.

It's time to make a change. It's time to jump.

"Are you gonna be one of those people that just talks about it, or actually, does it?"

Jump and find out...don't and you'll never know.

Choose Wasatch Business Finance as your CDC for SBA 504 Loans and you'll get the consistent results you've been longing for.
